Well we have made it through another month!! October was a fun busy month getting Halloween costumes together and painting pumkins! I know im lazy but painting is so much easier with a bunch of kiddos! They turned out so adorable and the kids had a blast! We wanted to go to the haunted corn maze but it rained for the whole week I had the kids so we made treats and goodie bags to send to Brock! The kids found every kind of spooky spiders they could to send in our Halloween package. They think its hilarious Brock is afraid of spiders! We missed having Swayzi with us this year and cant wait untill next Halloween to be all together! Sydnie was a pirate, Hunter was a mad scientist and of course Kivan was an Army guy because he is obsessed with Brock. Swayzi was Strawberry Shortcake and I'm sure she was the cutest Strawberry Shortcake ever! I talked to her on Skype a couple weeks ago and she was so adorable!! 2 more months and Brock will be home for 2 weeks on his leave! You have no idea how excited I am to see him and give him the biggest hug ever! I am so blessed with the best man and kiddos in my life! Now the kids are getting excited for Thanksgiving! Mostly just for the pumpkin pie though! I definately have alot to be thankful for this month and this year. I met the most amazing man in the world who will be my husband and will have a new daughter as well. Of course I have amazing children and family. Without them it would be almost impossible to make it through! Brocks Parents are amazing as well and im so lucky to have wonderful future inlaws! Everything is going good here for us! Kids are getting used to waking up early for school but Im not liking it so much!! Brock is doing good and only has 3 months untill he gets to come home for 2 weeks!! We miss him and love him like crazy! Brock got to talk to Swayzi on Skype and she was singing him songs and misses her Daddy too.
The kids and i spent the weekend in Moab and the kids had a blast! Hunter and Kivan mowed Pappos lawn and the nieghbors lawn with the riding lawn mowers and are getting so good at it! They also built boats and are very anxious to see if they float! Sydnie is getting so grown up and is getting so good at the violyn. I am just trying to stay busy with pictures so the days will go by fast. I am very blessed with a wonderful family, and I cant wait untill January to see my soldier for 2 weeks! I am very proud of him and love him and Swayzi like crazy. I am very excited for fall to be here as well. Hunting and the fall colors and cooler weather make life just a little better. Happy fall everyone!

Well School is underway for the kiddos and we are all adjusting to getting up early which none of us like!! Ha ha.... Sydnie is in Middle School and thinks she is so cool cause she has a locker! She is playing the violyn (sp?) and is very excited for that! Hunter is in 4th grade and loves to learn! Kivan is in 3rd grade and is not liking school already! He would rather be outside playing!! With Brock gone I dont get to see Swayzi as much but I really miss her! She is such a doll and growing up so fast! Brock is doing good in Afghanistan and everyone teases me because im glued to my copmuter as much as I can be to Skype with him! I miss him like crazy but am very proud of what he is doing! I will add more pics of him over there as soon as he sends me some. They went to a villiage the other day and gave out shoes and school supplies to the kids. Those are the kind of missions I love hearing about! The others I just pretend not to be worried!I know he is very good at what he does though and will be safe. I am just ready for time to fly by now! Fall is just around the corner and its my favorite time of year! I am looking forward to the change and the holidays with the kiddos!

I just got back from WI to see Brock one more time before he flew out to Afghanistan. He flew out on Fri morning at 1:00am! They flew to a small country called Kergestan or something like that! They will be there untill tomorrow or the next day. Its been great because they have internet in their tents so we can email back and forth untill he leaves. The trip to see him was a blast! I drove out there with Brocks parents and Swayzi. We camped at walmarts and campgrounds along the way. We also stopped at Crazy Horse and Mnt. Rushmore. Swayzi traveled so good for a 2 yr old! We were all so impressed. Once we got to WI we stayed at a campground in West Salem WI wich was about 30 min away from Ft. McCoy. We toured the countryside and saw some really cool old barns and farm country. But mostly we just enjoyed our time together and tried not to think about him leaving! Now its back to reality and school is starting so hopefully that keeps me busy! The kids are very excited for school and sad summer is already over too! Lets just pray this year goes by fast!!

Well Brock has been gone for almost a month now! 1 down 11 to go! The kids are staying busy with summer activities. Going to Grandma and Papos alot swimming and catching Frogs. Kivan caught the tinest frog i have ever seen the other day! He loves catching bugs and frogs. He is all boy! School starts in 3 weeks and I am so not ready to send my kids back to school! I love having them home for the summer and getting to play and just be kids! I guess we will be doing the dreaded school shopping here soon!

Brock has been in Wisconsin for a little over a week... wich is way to long in my opinion! I am just trying to stay busy playing with the kids and taking pictures. Sydnie is 11 and getting sooo tall! She wears my clothes and shoes alreay. She likes anything to do with animals and wants to be a Vet when she grows up. Hunter is 9 and is such a good helper to me! He is always concerned about me being sad while Brock is gone. Kivan is 8 and is so full of energy! He plays outside from 9am till 10pm almost everyday. Swayzi just turned 2 and is such a cutie. She is starting to talk so good and has the cutest little voice. We are very blessed with such good beautiful kids! Now if this next year would hurry up and get over everything will be perfect!
